All time Tech Team
Tony Barnhart recently had his All-time Tech team. I however know so few of these guys. I honestly only vaguely remember Tech winning the Nat'l championship in 90. West Coast bubble I guess. So since my Tech history only goes back to 95, I;ve created my own 95-present team (excluding OL's cause....well just cause).
DE. Greg Gathers and Eric Henderson - Gathers was amazing...and maybe slihtky chemically imbalanced.
DT. Nate Stimson and Joe Anoai
LB. Brooking, Daryl Smith, Ron Rogers - Hard to leave Key Fox out, but Brooking and Rogers were a wrecking crew and Daryl Smith even with taht huge cast was unstoppable.
SS Tavares Tillman
FS Mike Dee...just kidding....Jeremy Muyers
CB Kenny Scott and Nathan Perryman
QB. AJ Suggs or Joe Hamilton its a toss up!
RB. Joe Burns - Hard to pick a guy that runs out of bounds but he was a stud, albeit a stupid one.
FB. Ed Wilder
WR. Calvin and Kelly Campbell - slight edge to KC over Dez for that one handed grab in the endzone at Talahassee.
TE. JP Foschi-lots of options here. Makes me wish our offense would utilize our TEs as pass catchers.
OL. I wont pick these guys. I do know that Nat Dorsey is IN for neutralizing Julius Peppers. Mike Cheever would probably also make it.
K. Luke Manget
P. Rodney Williams - the bombs make up for the shanks.
PR/KR. Nathan Perryman - guy refused to call fair catch.
if i did a 95- present hoops i'd have 2 teams. 1 by actual position they played the other the best team i could assemble
BEST TEAM BY POSITION
PG. Jarret Jack
SG. Elder - Slight nod over the amazing passing skills of Drew Barry
SF. Matt Harpring
PF. Chris Bosh
C. Luke - I considered Alvin, RaSean, and Elisma. Alvin was an amazing defensive presence, but I would just get irate watching him airball 4 footers. I mean what is up with that? Rasean will be the best of them, but as of right now he is just to enigmatic. Luke was on the final 4 squad and pretty much was the reason we went that far, despite the fact he seemed to kind of digress his sr yr.
BEST TEAM ASSEMBLED
PG Jarret Jack
SG Stephon
SF Harpring
PFJeremis Smith
C Bosh
Im sure I missed a few guys

You completely discredit yourself by creating a "best of" list without mentioning Pablo Mochado.
Also, I'm thinking Jeremis doesn't make the list. I'd probably have to take Collier at the PF (I thought he played Center, but he's listed at F). Don't get me wrong, Jeremis is a chief, but Collier's gotta be better than 10 and 8.
6th man = Darrell "Crazy Bone" LaBarrie
Collier, he could shoot and all, but to me he wasn't a tough scrapper the way Jeremis is. I agree by the numbers Collier gets the nod. I had to go with Jeremis, I saw JC play those years of uninspired ball contrasted with Jeremis' physical, play each game as if it were your last style.
Can we give an all honorable mention team for the ones we liked but obviously not for the All time team (and yes some of these are complete jokes)?
Charlie Rogers and Rhino at punt return
Hester the molester at DB
Chris Young, Butler and Marty O'Leary at S
Uremovich, Winbush, and Fox at LB
Nick Rogers and Felipe Claybrooks at DE!! just for the teeth!!
OL - Key, Roberts-Blake, Reilly, Big John Carman (scary big)
Holder- Brian Camp
Am I the only one that can't believe that Andy Hall made a roster in the NFL??
as far as bball...
C- Anthony McHenry (a pg turned center due to confidence problems with an Irish last name similar to Shaq. O'Neil)
PF- Robert Brooks (able to make defenders think that he was actually asleep, Tarver is his backup...same reason)
SF- John Babul (female attendance would skyrocket, as would visiting teams FG %. Fair trade)
SG- Kyle Perry (unmatched from long range)
PG- T.J. Vines (Ability to take a game over in the final minutes better than anyone else in Point Gaurd U's history)
In all seriousness, I think it would depend on who's style of play we would be using. If you are thinking NBA style then Smith will beat out Collier. If you are thinking best team to win at the college level, then Ed Nelson's style of play suited Hewitt far better than Bosh, Smith, and Collier. Even though all three were better players and Ed gained 500 lbs after his transfer. Stats and results back this up.
I agree that Ed Nelson is a great fit at 4. i however cannot put him on the list. The acne factor and general dickishness forbids him from being on any list of mine. I will come clean though, I loved his sty;e of play and hustle while he was here.
I think Bosh wasactually perfect for Hewitt's system cause he can run, can post up, and drill from long range if he drifts outside. Pretty much I think despite his likeness to an alien, hes a stud.
P.S. Bosh finished second to Sam Cassell in the "Best Alien lookalike Contest"
does that mean sheldon williams won the best "face smashed in with a bat" lookalike contest?
Sheldon won the follwing award:
1) Most likely to play a Klingon in the next Star Trek movie
2) Most likely to be referred to as "Another idiotic move by the Hawks!"
3) Most likely to be drafted as a 3/4 on a team with 8 guys that play the 3/4 and 0 guys that play point gaurd.
My honorable mention goes to the strangest shooting, yo-yo dribbling, and nastiest dunking abilities of Mr. Will "Life is Hard, Play Short" Bynum.
The thing I loved about Ron Rogers is that the dude layed hat. He wasnt that fast but he could stop the run.
I loved gerris, he had a monster senior yr, but before that was pretty unimpressed.
I love wheeler and hall, especially wheeler and think they, with guyton will make the fastest SOBs to track down tailbacks.
I might also adjust my best team on the floor for hoops to....
PG JJ
SG Steph
SF Thaddeus Young (sight unseen)
PF Harpring
C Bosh
